Affiliate & Sponsorship Disclosure
Last updated: 2026-07-07
Plain language: Some links earn us a commission. This doesn't change what we recommend. Sponsored content is always clearly labeled. We're transparent because honesty matters more than hiding it.
1. Affiliate Links
AI for Anything includes links to AI tools, platforms, and services. When you click some of these links and make a purchase or sign up, we may earn a commission.
This doesn't cost you extra. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or not. The commission comes from the company's affiliate program, not from you.
Tools we recommend with affiliate links include (but are not limited to):
- LLM APIs and platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Content creation tools (Midjourney, FLUX, Runway, etc.)
- Educational courses and certifications
- Productivity and automation tools
- Cloud services and infrastructure
2. How Affiliate Links Work
When you click an affiliate link:
- You're taken to the tool's website (or sign-up page)
- Our affiliate code is included in the URL or cookie
- If you sign up, create an account, or make a purchase, the company recognizes the referral
- They credit us a commission (typically 5–30%, depending on the program)
You can often see the affiliate code in the URL (e.g., ref=aiforanything). This is normal and transparent.
3. Affiliates Don't Influence Rankings
This is a hard rule: We don't rank tools higher just because we earn a commission. Period.
Tools are ranked and recommended based on:
- Quality and capability — does it actually work well?
- Relevance to the use case — does it fit what you're trying to do?
- User feedback and ratings — what do people say about it?
- Price and value — is it worth the cost?
- Our personal experience — have we used it and liked it?
If a tool is terrible but offers us a huge affiliate commission, we won't recommend it (or we'll recommend a competitor instead).
Some tools we recommend have affiliate programs, and some don't. The lack of an affiliate link doesn't mean we like it any less.
4. Sponsored Content
Occasionally, we may feature sponsored content — articles, tutorials, or features created or funded by a company. This is different from affiliate links:
- Affiliate link: You click, you buy, we earn a small commission
- Sponsored content: A company pays us to create or feature content about their product
We accept sponsorships only from companies whose products we genuinely believe in and would recommend anyway. We won't take money to feature a bad product.
5. How We Label It
Affiliate links: Some may have a small "[affiliate]" indicator or note nearby. Even if not explicitly labeled, if you see ref=aiforanything in the URL, it's an affiliate link.
Sponsored content: Always clearly labeled at the top or bottom:
[Sponsored] This article is sponsored by Company X.
We never try to hide sponsored content. If we're being paid, we say so upfront.
6. Our Transparency Promise
We believe honesty is better than hiding it. Here's what we commit to:
- No hidden affiliate links. If a link is an affiliate, you can verify it in the URL.
- No misleading recommendations. We only recommend tools we'd use ourselves.
- Sponsored content is always disclosed. You'll always know if a company paid us.
- We prioritize your interests. Your trust matters more than a few dollars in commission.
- You're never obligated to use our links. If you prefer to find a tool directly, that's fine.
7. Questions?
If you see a link and aren't sure whether it's an affiliate or sponsored:
- Check the URL — does it have
ref=in it? - Look for [Sponsored] labels
- Email us at [email protected] and ask
We're happy to clarify.
Bottom Line
We make a small amount from affiliate commissions and sponsorships. This helps us keep the platform free and funded. But your trust is worth more than any commission, so we're always honest about it.
